- Overview
Putrajaya is a well-liked day trip destination for tourists to Kuala Lumpur because of its octagonal structures and geometric gardens in a futuristic man-made lake. The Putra Mosque, with its rose-pink domes towering over the city skyline, is one of the city’s architectural highlights. The Putra Mosque is a gorgeously constructed mosque with Safavid monuments of Iran serving as design inspiration. Visitors who are not Muslims are welcome to come during non-prayer times and, if they are not dressed appropriately, they can rent robes. The mosque has room for 15,000 worshipers at once. In the daytime, the pink domes are breathtakingly stunning. The prime minister’s office and other government institutions are housed in Perdana Putra, often known as the “White House of Malaysia.” Tourists obviously cannot approach it, but the structure is beautifully made and provides a nice view of the area. The largest square in the city, Dataran Putra, which is close by, is where numerous cultural events take place. You can use your own eyes to explore more of Putrajaya’s attractions.
